Intro Post

This Blog is intended to serve as a space to talk about my journeys and my mental health, college, and professional life. This is not intended to be a “bitch session” nor viewed as complaining – although I can not control how you perceive what I say (or write, rather), only how I intend for it to be. However, I do appreciate you (whoever you are) for taking a moment to check out my page and reading through at least some of my posts.

My name is CJ and I am currently enrolled in college to obtain my Bachelor’s os Science in CyberSecurity and Information Assurance (BSCSIA) through Western Governors University. I hold a B.S in Business, an A.S in Network Engineering, CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications, and ITIL4 Foundations certifications. I am dedicated to moving from the public retail world into the IT world to better myself professionally and tackle some goals I want to accomplish in my life before the end.

That said, it’s rough out here trying to manage everything simultaneously. Full-time, part-time, school, and just normal everyday life tend to be overwhelming. I am going to use this as a platform for myself to be able to talk about daily struggles and to get the thoughts out of my head and “on to paper” so to speak in hopes of 1) potentially offering some solice to someone else who may be struggling with similar issues to know that we are not alone and 2) declutter my brain. Heavy on the second one.

Do not get this confused: This is not a trauma dumping blog where all I will be talking about is going to be terrible things that have happened to me and why me and all that. Nope. I just intend to talk about real issues, where I came from, where I am, and where I intend to be in the future. Some daily things like what happened during the day(s) and what I may be struggling with, sure, but we are manifesting better things over here, and in order to do that, some of the older demons have to be gotten rid of.

On that note, if you’ve made it this far, Thanks! You’re helping me grow as a person and get better by offering audience to my show, and it is much appreciated.

I do intend to post multiple times a week, not necessarily every day because I do have a lot of other things going on (as mentioned above which is why im doing this in the first place) but enough to be interactive.

Again, Thanks for stopping in! My next few posts will be about me, my current life, and all the good things happening. Some gratitude before the tough stuff. Hope you stick around!
